Have you heard of Vollis Simpson? Before arriving in Wilson, we hadn’t either. Wilson is seeking to change that, embarking on a multi-million dollar, folk-art branded celebration of this creative genius. This project now houses the Visitor Center and restaurant, and 93 apartments, all in a sprawling old tobacco building once known as the Hi-Dollar warehouse. Waukeshaw is thrilled to be a part of Wilson’s rebirth.
