Deciding to embark on our second project in Blackstone was an easy call. The town is bustling as activity increases at Fort Pickett.

After breaking ground in August 2019, Waukeshaw debuted The Nottoway House in the summer of 2020. As our first-ever new build construction project, our team learned a ton from this building (and enjoyed the simplicity of designing a building around its intended use from the get-go!). We’re more excited than ever to continue to innovate and create in both historic and new spaces.

Now leasing, The Nottoway House offers 34 furnished short-stay apartments with all the comforts of home. The property is located just five minutes from Fort Pickett and is a short walk to downtown Blackstone, making it the perfect place to stay and explore.
