By the time Waukeshaw got to this pretty ex-maunfacturing warehouse things were looking bleak. Overgrown with vines and structurally unsound, time was short for this stately pile. Waukeshaw added the building to the National Register, qualifying it for historic tax credits, then gutted the thing completely, rehabbing it with office space on the first floor and residential space on the second and third. The green patina and the old Powell Maunfacturing Company lettering make it pop on Fourth St. We’re especially fond of this project.
